This presentation will describe the Modified Special Provision that District 4 has created related to Standalone and System Testing of ITS devices. The District 4 offices of Design, Construction, and TSM&O collaborated on improving the process of developing and approving testing plans that routinely delay construction projects by days or weeks at a time. This MSP will simplify the process by pre-approving testing plans at the Design stage.
