Ana brings almost 20 years of Project Management in areas of mobility and rail transportation in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving at FDOT District 4 as the Rail Administrtion Manager, she leads the professional team assigned to manage all rail-related projects in the region according to the Department’s vision, mission, and values. Ana manages the District Rail Program for the region, including extensive coordination with existing railroad operators in the area (AMTRAK, CSXT, Florida East Cost Railway – FECR, Brightline, US Sugar Express, South Florida Transportation Authority – SFRTA. In the past, Ana had worked for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority as in-house support for the Maintenance of Way office and held the positions of Director of Mobility and Business Development at Brightline and FDOT District 6 Rail Administrator. With a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, and credits to the University of Miami for a Master of Science in Architecture and the Politechnical University of Madrid for a Master's in Ground Transportation.
