Mr. Gray, EI, RSP2I, is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He started his career as a researcher at the USDOT Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, providing technical support in program development and capacity building, complete streets, bicycle and pedestrian safety, and federal grants. Currently, he works for JMT where his responsibilities include working as a safety specialist in-house at the FDOT District 7 Safety Office, where he is the Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Consultant, assisting with the development of FDOT’s HSIP program and assisting with other daily traffic operations and safety duties. He has performed many safety studies, including intersection safety studies, arterial safety studies, roadway safety audits, and desktop safety reviews. He was also the recipient of the 2023 GTSITE Young Engineer of the Year Award.
