Ann Broadwell has been the District 4 Environmental Manager since 2003. She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University (BS and MS) and started her career with FDOT in District 6 where she gained permitting experience working on US 1 South project and the up-front wetland mitigation project that accompanied the roadway improvements. While in District 4, she has worked on several bridge replacement projects that have required USCG, WMD and ACOE permits as well as NMFS, USFWS and FWC coordination and documentation with respect to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). She continues to work on finding street light solutions to reduce impacts to sea turtle nesting beaches.
