Austin Petersen, P.E. began his career with FDOT in February of 2017, working as a Professional Engineer Trainee in District 7. He then began working as a Project Administrator in Brooksville Construction in August of 2018 before moving back to the District Office for a role as a Construction Senior Project Manager in the District Interstate Residency in April of 2022. Austin was appointed the Interstate/CCEI Resident Engineer in January of 2025. Austin enjoys traveling and trying new food spots with his wife, Jahdai, as well as going on walks with his dog Chico.
