Christine Fasiska has been in the engineering industry for nearly 36 years and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Her current role is with the Florida Department of Transportation as the PS&E Engineer for District 4. In the 10 years that she has spent with FDOT, Christine has also had the opportunity to work as the Transportation Planning Manager and the LAP Administrator. Prior to relocating from Pennsylvania to Florida, Christine had a brief, 3-year stint in Corpus Christi, Texas, working as the Central Design Supervisor for the Texas Department of Transportation. Here, she was responsible for leading the design group in developing consistent, accurate, and quality construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of transportation projects. Before working in the public sector, Christine worked as a consultant for almost 22 years. She started her engineering career as a CADD drafter, learning and growing into an Engineering Technician, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and finally the Structures Division Manager for an expanding consulting firm. Along the way she has developed a great appreciation for learning, creativity, diligence, and attention to details.
