Hailing Zhang (D6)

Hailing Zhang's background in structural engineering spans over three decades, encompassing both private and public sector work. She holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Florida International University and a Master of Science degree in Bridge Engineering from Tongji University. Her experience includes a variety of structure types, such as cable-stayed bridges, arch bridges, prestressed concrete bridges (both pretensioned and posttensioned), and steel bridges, as well as involvement in miscellaneous structures and project management. She has also contributed to the field with a few technical papers, including one published in the Journal of Bridge Engineering. Since 2016, Hailing has been working as the FDOT D6 District Structures Design Engineer.
