Irj Tajdar is the Rail Engineering Specialist at OMD Rail with FDOT. Holding dual bachelor's degrees in Business & Information Management with a focus on Logistics & Supply Chain, and in Economics, Irj has been serving FDOT since 2020. . Currently, Irj manages projects with rail involvement impacting CSX and US Sugar/SCFE rail corridors and also oversees rail grant projects, including the East Corridor Trespassing and Intrusion Mitigation Project awarded under a RAISE grant to FDOT in partnership with Brightline. Irj leads special rail-related projects, including those with Brightline, and manages special leases on railroad property, special pilot projects on SFRC corridor,and Roadway Jurisdiction Transfer Agreements with rail involvement. Her expertise encompasses project management, grant administration, procurement, and funds allocation to ensure regulatory and financial compliance for both projects and grants.
