Ivette Funtanellas (D6)

Ivette has worked for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) – District 6 for over 20 years. She began her career in the Traffic Operations Department in the safety office as an analyst where she managed DW contracts and worked on different traffic operations safety studies. In 2016 she transitioned to the Consultant Management Department as a Project Manager where she led RRR projects and safety design jobs. In 2023, she was promoted to a Special Project Management position where she has been tasked with more complex projects (PD&Es, design-build projects, and reconstruction jobs). Ivette obtained her BS in Civil Engineering in 2008 from FIU.
