Ms. Kildare has over 12 years of experience in management roles within government agencies and currently serves as the District Landscape Manager at FDOT, overseeing the Landscape Architecture Unit (LAU) in Design. Her team manages programs such as the Wildflower Program, Florida Scenic Highway Program, landscape permit reviews, Landscape Maintenance Agreements, and compliance with the 1.5% landscape funding requirement. She holds a Master Degree in Environmental Policy and Management, a Graduate Certificate in Landscape Architecture, a Professional Certificate in Horticulture, and dual Bachelor degrees in Graphic Design and Advertising. She has also earned certifications as a Master Gardener Volunteer, Habitat Steward, and Water Ambassador; contributing to her community as an active volunteer for over a decade. Ms. Kildare was honored with FDOT District Four’s 2025 Innovator of the Year Award and recognized as part of the Team of the Year. She is a devoted advocate for pollinators, environmental education, and youth engagement.
