Thomas Hill is the State Modeling Manager for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), with over 26 years of experience in travel demand modeling and microsimulation across government, private, and academic sectors. He holds both a Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Florida State University. Thomas is active in national committees, including the TRB Microsimulation Committee and the CTPP Oversight Board, and leads key initiatives at FDOT, such as microsimulation training, freight and evacuation modeling, and updates to statewide modeling standards. Outside of work, he enjoys playing trombone, running, grilling, and napping.
