Thuc H. Le, who is a Gator at heart, graduated from the University of Florida with a BSCE & BSME degrees in Civil and Mechanical Engineering in 1997. He immediately started serving the Florida Department of Transportation in many capacities, including PE Trainee, Roadway Designer, and Consultant Project Manager. He has amassed 27 years of profound experience in FDOT policies and procedures while serving the public in the field of transportation. During his tenure, Thuc has managed a wide range of complex projects, from mobility projects to interchange reconstruction projects, using a variety of methods such as design-bid-build and design-build. Additionally, Thuc successfully managed bridge rehabilitations and replacements, including complex movable bridges. Furthermore, Thuc has meticulously overseen and managed multiple PD&E studies, which require extensive public engagement and stakeholder collaboration in achieving LDCA. For his diligent and zealous efforts in the projects, FDOT conferred Thuc with multiple awards, including the prestigious 2025 D4 Transportation Development Employee of the Year and the District Partnering Awards in 2017 and 2022.
