Zach Behring (CO)

Zach is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2011, followed by a Master's degree in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering in 2013. Shortly after, in 2014, Zach began his career with the Florida Department of Transportation in District 4, in the district structures design office. Currently, Zach serves in Central Office within the State Structures Design Office, in the Special Projects Group. In this role, he focuses on in-house bridge design, research, and maintaining and improving the department’s Structures Standard Plans, design software, and the Structures Manual. With a strong technical foundation and a commitment to innovation, Zach continues to contribute to the safety and resilience of Florida’s transportation infrastructure.
